Al-Shabaka Live Tweeting Russell Tribunal on Palestine

Al-Shabaka will be live tweeting The Russell Tribunal on Palestine from November 5-7 at @AlShabaka.

From November 5-7, The Russell Tribunal on Palestine--an international people's tribunal created in response to the international community's inaction with respect to Israel's recognised violations of international law--will be convening in Cape Town, South Africa. The Tribunal will be considering whether Israel's treatment of the Palestinian people fits the international legal definitions of the crime of apartheid. 

The Tribunal has already made the headlines. On November 1, Justice Richard Goldstone attacked the Tribunal in The New York Times and claimed, "In Israel, there is no apartheid. Nothing there comes close to the definition of apartheid". Is Goldstone right, or is the Tribunal?
